Sorry for the crappy pics, I don't have much room. But what I do have is a good stash of parts. So its time to tear down the old religion and put my son's bike together. New frontend, wheel, brake, tank, rear fender and heads. Plus whatever else needs attention as I get to it. I got my bike relatively done over the winter now I have enough to get this one on the road. So lets see....

Found this on hated of the world. Dual su carb's. Makes the right side of bike pretty clean.
Well the trans adjuster was a big piece of shit. Came no where near fitting. Even cut up but the seat turned out nice. The big modification (I guess) was the tranny sprocket. I went from a 23 tooth to a 26 and damn what a difference.

Anything bates is expensive. But alot of people don't know that K-D made the headlight buckets for Bates. All Bates did was put a brass looking tag on top and sell them. Long story short, if you got a 5 3/4" little chopper light stamped K-D on top you initially have a bates and probably saved alot of money. Bmfinger ......
This has been floating around the the web (and ocean) for awhile. Some of you have proly seen it but I thot it was worth posting here. This bike washed up on Canada's shore recently after drifting 4000+ miles from japan. Mother nature claimed it during last years tsunami. That's pretty wild, the owner identified it and was missing it.
