On the news lately there has been controversy over 4 u.s. marines pissing on the dead bodies of rag heads. Some people (on our side) were offended. Well fuck you! That's the least they deserve. Do you remember our female military women getting raped? Do you remember 9/11? And do you remember Nick Berg? Nick was captured, bound and be-headed on t.v. America has gotten weak cause someone will get "offended". Well god bless our troops and fuck you if you get "offended".

I didn't want to go with a model a taillight but running a 6 volt system I didn't have much choice. Also got a pretty cool seat from Rich Phillips. Getting close

I couldn't afford new one piece internal bars so I welded my two piece together. Ill clean them up later.

Duane had the itch again. He got a new fender and shaved on it some. Here's alittle more progress.

Poor picture quality but when I make progress after work its late at night. Getting closer anyway. Seat, wiring and internal bars are all I have left to be running again. I can fine tune afterwards.

My brother Keith found a '59 flh chopper in a barn. Just like stories you hear about. But I am talking about him so its no surprise. Been sitting there eight years. Now its got a new home.

Fork stops. While collecting everything to put a OEM springer on one of my pans, I was wondering what I was gonna do about fork stops. There is a hole one both sides of the neck casting close to where the backbone and down tubes meet. Nothing goes to it on my bike, or any that I've seen. Not sure what its for cause there where no wear marks or threads or anything. That said, I tapped them and used a bolt for the stops. The bolt head lined up perfectly with the stops on the springer. I used a 3/8"x16npt tap. Cosmetically its not the prettiest but no cutting/welding is involved. Plus you can adjust them to a different tank if you decide to swap. In case your not in tune with what I've been putting together, I put a late model FX springer on a '51 wishbone pan frame. And I Freakin love it.

I decided to go a complete different route on the ass end. Had to get alittle creative with the fork stops. Ill go into detail on that later cause that ended up being a cool little tech tip. More to come

As you get older you can't do what you used to. Know matter how much you tell yourself or how drunk you are. Ill give you an example, last night I tried to drop in on a half pipe. Needless to say it didn't go well and I don't feel worth a shit this morning . Hitting the ground from an elevated platform hurts alot more now adays. But I now have a new rule, nothing from my childhood and alcohol will mix lol. Damn I'm sore!
